For its 10th year anniversary, the iconic Tour de Bintan is back, treating cyclists to a vibrant, epic and festive weekend of cycling in beautiful Bintan. And once again, Bintna Lagoon Resort is proud to be the official host for this exciting and yearly anticipated event. The event organized by Metasport is now in its 9th year and promises to treat cyclists to a vibrant, epic and festive weekend of cycling and fun in beautiful Bintan. Over 1,000 cyclists are expected to descend upon the island to participate in this world-class event spread over three days and covering various tracks ranging from 17 km to 140 km.
This weekend, Bintan Lagoon Resort (BLR) participated in the World Clean up Day (WCD) initiative held on 15 September 2018 in Lagoi Tourism Area, joining the biggest-ever single day of volunteer-based waste collection efforts around the world. The initiative was organized by PT Bintan Resort Cakrawala (BRC) and Bintan District Government OPD.
It was the night the stars came out to play at Bintan Lagoon Resort. Bollywood celebrities were the guests of honour at an incentive event hosted by Kamdhenu Paints of India in early July.
Indian celebrities Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja headlined a cast of singers, dancers, and comedians at this gathering by one of India’s largest paint companies, a subsidiary of Kamdhenu Group.

Then gather your friends and family and head down to Bintan Lagoon Resort, and join us in replanting 10,000 seedlings on 23 June and 30 June 2018, for the Mass Bintan Mangrove Replanting at Sungai Sebong.
This unique green initiative is organised by Bintan Resorts International and PT Bintan Resort Cakrawala. It is estimated that a total of 250 hectares of land in northern Bintan need to be planted with mangroves. With this replanting programme, it is hoped that environmental awareness will be instilled among tourists and local population and encourage locals to take pride and care of their surroundings.
In partnership with the Society of Singapore Golfers, Bintan Lagoon Resort was proud to host the SSG-BLR International Amateur Championship 2018. The event was held at Jack Nicklaus Seaview Course from 6 - 9 May.
A total of 46 individuals have registered and participated in this World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) counting event.
A bevy of 20 lovely staffers from Bintan Lagoon Resort took to the lobby floor in a dazzling parade of kebaya outfits on 21 April to mark Hari Kartini Day. Resplendent in colourful traditional attire, the ladies made themselves proud as they sashayed with smiles and elegance to the admiring glances of guests who gathered for the high tea show.
A record 160 golfers played in the 3rd Bintan Lagoon Golf Club President’s Cup golf tournaments held from 4-5 November at Bintan Lagoon Resort.
Supported by Wonderful Indonesia, the Ministry of Tourism Indonesia and hosted by Dean Tan, Member of AAA Singapore Golf Professional, the event attracted top dignitaries, corporates, and avid golfers. The tournament was played over the two exceptional 18-hole championship courses designed by Jack Nicklaus Seaview and Ian Baker-Finch Woodlands. Both courses offer spectacular signature holes, fast greens, undulating fairways and scenic water hazards. For a touch of fun, the 4-Ball Texas Scramble was an additional format to the tournament to increase the speed of the game.
